Joanna Wallfisch - Group Class

  • Pier 39 - Astoria, Oregon 100 39th Street Astoria, OR, 97103 United States (map)

$30.00 - Songwriting with Joanna Wallfisch - Baritone UKE - DGBE Tuning

Joanna’s been described by Downbeat Magazine as an "exquisite singer-songwriter", "unique and sublime" by The Telegraph and Jazzwise Magazine said that "her tales have not only a reflective, poetic quality but a directness too, venturing into acoustic country-pop that has echoes of singer-songwriters such as Carole King or Glen Campbell."

Joanna plays primarily a Baritone Uke, tuned DGBE and is excited to present two workshops in the art of songwriting and arrangement.

In her Group Class, limited to 10 students, she will perform a variety of her originals and maybe a few of her and possibly your favorite covers and discuss song form, inspiration, the writing and creative process.

In her Master Class, limited to 5 students, she will then dive deep into the form, whim, and magic of songwriting.

You are invited to bring your own songs, ideas, and workshop them with Joanna in the Master Class format.
